About us
The National Association of Romanian Registrars, the first and only professional association of registrars in Romania, was founded in 2011 in Iași.
The association emerged in response to the need to professionalize the registrars activity, one of the oldest activities in Romania, issued in 1817. Subsequently, at the proposal of the members of the Association, the statute was modified to allow the officials with registrar attributions to join, so that the Association can also represent their interests.
In Romania, the registrars activity is carried out in each of the 3187 territorial administrative units, being provided by about 8000 civil servants organized within the municipalities or community public services for the registration of persons.

Dear Colleague,
The National Association of Romanian Registrars leaves behind 7 years of activity full of achievements that give us the reason and the power to go further, in order to win our place among Romanian professions, and the status that we deserve.
We are doing a beautiful balance today, in which we are proud to say that the achievements overcome the failures, and some of our initial objectives have been reached.
These years have not been easy, but the support of our colleagues, who have understood us and who have joined our ideas, has given us the power and motivation to go forward and get over the mischief and hindrances.
Thank you for the trust you have invested in us and in our common goals.
